Agrément South Africa is a division of the CSIR (Council for Scientific
and Industrial Research) which evaluates the fitness-for-purpose of
non-standardised construction products. This department, one of the
founding members of the World Federation of Technical Assessment
Organisations (WFTAO) has been researching alternative building
methods since the 1969. Agrément is recognised in more than 21
countries worldwide and is one of the highest standards for non-
standardised construction products.
Agrément certification incorporates the requirements of:
